What to Do with All of This Content (31 Day Blog Post Challenge)

31 Blog Post Challenge Whats Next

Ok, so hopefully if you’re reading this, you just finished doing a month’s worth of blog posts.

OR

You have been reading about it, trying to decide if it’s worth it for you.

So here’s what I wanted to share.

When you have a month’s worth of blog posts on one topic, you’ve got some awesome content!

You’ll notice that you’ll start getting more traffic to your blog, as you have a lot of great content on one topic.

What should you do now?

Besides anything else you decide…please continue posting on that blog!

Of course it doesn’t have to be what the challenge was about, but you probably got some new readers to your blog, or you will soon as the search engines see the new (and consistent) posts that are coming to your blog. So keep it up! Post!

But what about all of that content that you just created? Depending on the month you do this, you’ll have 30 or 31 blog posts on a single topic.

That content is really valuable, and you can still get so much use out of that content!

Here are a few ideas of what you can do with that content…

  • Are you building your list? If not, is it because you don’t have a great free report to give away? Why not put the posts together into a report, and give it away when someone signs up to your list? They’ll be happy to get all of that content, and you’ll be happy to start building your list!
  • Depending on how much detail you went into…why not package it together and sell it? You can always expand on it if you don’t think it’s enough content. You can charge very little…and this way you’ll have a list of buyers! You might think that people won’t buy what’s freely available, but that’s not true. A lot of bloggers have put together posts before, and created a book out of them and sold them.
  • Speaking of books, why not put the content together, and add more if needed and sell it on Amazon as a book? You can charge very little, even just $0.99 and you’ll be able to grow your audience! Make sure in the first few pages of the book you lead people to your website so they can see your blog! And don’t forget to use affiliate links if you’re promoting products!
  • You now have a bunch of content that you can turn into a podcast! Depending on what you wrote about, you might even have enough content for 30 or 31 different episodes! If you’d prefer you can do videos instead and post them on your blog or YouTube!
  • Want to get more people to buy a product through your affiliate link? Package the posts together and give it away as a bonus. Say “If you buy xyz through my link, I’ll give you abc for free!”
  • Now that you have all of this content, expand on it! You can create a higher level course out of it. You can do coaching with it. You can create a webinar out of it.

Sorry if I wasn’t more specific, but without knowing the exact content that you wrote about in the challenge, it’s hard to give exact ideas on what you can do with the content. But there are a LOT of things you can do with this content.

Consider this a starting point.

What do you want to get out of this content? More subscribers to your list? More money? To get people to buy through your links? Based on what you’re looking to get out of it, you can figure out what you should do with the content.

Yes, you just got a month’s worth of great posts, but that’s just the beginning. Now you can use and reuse this content to get a whole lot more out of it as well!

Enjoy,
Jessica
