I can’t believe that on Sunday it will be April already! I’m in shock really. One fourth of the year is over with already…and I feel like I haven’t gotten much accomplished.
Now, I know that’s not true…but I know that I haven’t done a lot that I wanted to.
Of course I can blame part of that on the fact that I don’t have a lot of time to work on my business with a little girl who’s not even 1-year old yet. But I know that a big part of it is that I’m not planning right.
When you don’t have much time, but want to accomplish a lot…there are a lot of things you can do to help make sure you make the most of your time.
One thing is to plan well. So that when you DO have a few minutes, you know exactly what you’re going to do with those minutes. This way you don’t waste that time trying to figure out what you should be working on – instead you’re actually working on something.
I have a few suggestions of ways to make this happen:
- 12 Week Year – This is a book I read a few years ago, and really helps you get a lot done – fast. I think it’s about time for me to reread it!
- 100 Day Challenge – This will kickstart you into getting a lot more done (see below – it’s opening this week!)
- A really good planner/to-do list – This will make it easy for you to just follow what’s on the list and not have to think about what to do. You did that part already, and will just start getting things done.
In other words…we need to DO SOMETHING. If you’re not happy with the way your year is going, the worst thing you can do is nothing. Change something up if you want to see results!
Don’t wait any longer!
Enjoy,
P.S. A few years ago, I participated in Gary Ryan Blair’s 100 Day Challenge. It was worth it. Every day you watch a video and get motivated…and then you get a lot of work done. He’s starting a new challenge up in the next few days.
Now is the time to start the second quarter of the year off right.
Whether you’re interested in it or not, you need to read his free manifesto. That alone should start kicking your butt into gear and make you want to get more done….right now.
