Today I posted for day 7. I have to say, I’m not doing as much as I wanted to each day as I wanted to post to Instagram every single day after my post, but at least I’m keeping up with the posts, which is the most important part.
My goal for today was to get 2 posts done, as I’m adopting 2 kittens tomorrow, so I’m not sure how much I’ll be in front of my laptop. I just don’t have the energy to get myself to do it though. So hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to post.
If you’ve kept up, after today you’ve posted for a whole week! Doesn’t it feel good? Hopefully you’re seeing some more traffic.
I have a question for you. What do you want people to do after they read your post? Does your post sell something? Does it have a link they should click on? Should they sign up to your email list?
That’s what you should start thinking about next. My posts are not selling anything, and right now there is no obvious thing I’m telling someone to do after they read my post. What I want to do is find a few affiliate products that fit with my posts, and put them at the bottom of my posts. I just started thinking about it though, so will take a few more days to figure out what to promote. Then I’ll just go through all of the posts and put a nice image underneath the post, promoting whatever I decide to promote.
No matter what you’re posting about, you should think about what your goal is after they finish reading your post, and point them in that direction.
