It’s the 8th day of the 100 Day Challenge.
So why do I have a picture of day 7? I haven’t watched video 8 yet. I was hoping to this morning, but have been busy working on other things. I hope to watch it later tonight.
How did the first week of the challenge go? Great.
I watched a new video every morning, and it gave me not only a challenge to work on for the day, but it made me feel more like I could totally do this.
I have to say so far that the “orientation” paperwork was the best thing I’ve done. I have a list of things I want to accomplish, and when I want to accomplish them.
The only negative? I feel like I should have gone more into depth and had more micro-steps. I still might bring things into smaller steps, as it will make it easier to see when to have certain things done by.
My goals for the challenge are in multiple aspects of my life. Work of course, but also other things I have been neglectful of – getting things done at home, personal goals, etc.
I have to say that for getting stuff done at home, so far this has been wonderful! I had been putting off a task – a silly one – seasoning new pots and pans that I purchased back in DECEMBER – so that I could start using them.
Why did I put it off? I’m not really sure. Maybe because I wasn’t sure how to season it correctly?
But with it listed with a date that it had to be done by, I got it done. The funny part? It took less than a half of an hour to do all of it. It should have been done back in December. But at least it’s done now, and I’ve been using the pots and pans for a few days now, and they’re awesome. Nothing sticks to them, they’re easy to clean, and I wish I had done this sooner.
Hopefully it will be this way with more of my goals!
As for my work goals, it’s getting me to work on them, although that’s going a bit more slowly.
I still have 92 days to go, and quite a few big goals to get accomplished. As of right now, I can see me getting them done. Hopefully things won’t change!
I’ll update more next week, and hopefully I’ll have a lot more great things to say…
In the meantime, if you want to join Gary Ryan Blair the next time he opens up the 100 Day Challenge, here’s the link.
