How to Tell if Flipping Domains is for You?

Domainer Elite Pro

The other day I mentioned flipping domains, and a few people had some questions, so I thought I’d give you my view on if flipping domains is for you or not.

Buying and selling domains does carry some risks. You’re buying multiple domains in the hopes that you’re going to sell them for a profit.

So what if you don’t?

Well, then you’re stuck with them until they expire…meaning you’re out the $9.

While I assume that will happen some of the time, the hope is that you get enough domain names that you sell for multiple times that (think $30, $50, $70, $100, $250, or even $400 or more.)

That should more than cancel out the few domains that you won’t be able to sell – because I’m sure it will happen sometimes.

What I like about it: It’s simple. You buy a domain, and then sell it. There’s no other work involved. No spending hours trying to get a website up, or get traffic, or create a product, etc… So it’s great if you don’t have a lot of time to spend on your business, aren’t technical, or just don’t know what to do.

The software that Jamie Lewis is offering seems to make things even easier. Not only does it help you find domains that other people are willing to pay a premium for, but you can sell the domains using his software too, making it even easier.

What I don’t like about it: It does carry some risk. You theoretically could buy a few domains, and not be able to sell them. You could lessen the risk by only buying a few at a time, and waiting until those sell to buy more with the profits. If you buy too many the first time out, you could spend a lot before seeing any profits come in.

Overall, I think if you’re looking for an “easy” way to earn, or add a new income stream, this sounds pretty cool. I love the idea that the software will help you come up with domains, because right now if I were to go buy domains in the hopes of selling them for more, I’d have absolutely no clue where to start.

So this should make it a lot easier to buy the right domains to earn on.

Besides the software, you also get instructions, training, and resources that should make it easier, which I like as well.

I also like that there is a 30 day money back guarantee. So if you try it and aren’t able to earn anything with buying and selling domains, you can get your money back! That makes me feel a lot better about the whole thing as well.

If you’re very risk adverse, or you don’t like the idea of laying out some money to buy the domains in the first place, this probably isn’t for you.

But if you like the idea of spending $9 and turning around and selling those same domains for a lot more, take a look at how to make that easier:
