Ways to Earn Extra Money: I am Addicted to Swagbucks

Join Swagbucks!

If you’re looking for another way to earn some extra money while working on your business, you’re going to love Swagbucks.

Just don’t get addicted to it, like I am.

What’s awesome is that not only can you earn gift cards to places such as Amazon, your favorite restaurant, and other stores…but you can get PayPal out of it, meaning cold hard cash.

I usually go back and forth between getting PayPal and Amazon gift cards.

Now, how do you go about earning on Swagbucks?

This is one of the things I like most. There are a ton of ways to earn SB (Swagbucks).

Here are just some of the ways:

  • Watching Videos on a Mobile Device – I do this every day.
  • Watching Videos on your desktop/laptop
  • Making purchases (similar to cash back)
  • Taking Surveys
  • Playing Games
  • Discovering things – such as signing up for a free newsletter, checking out a website, and other things you’re probably interested in anyway.
  • Searching – if you use their search engine instead of Google, every so often you’ll win free SB!
  • …and more.

I’d say depending on the day I earn between 200 – 400 SB (which translates to $2 – $4 dollars.) But I am near my laptop and mobile devices most of the day. It may be different for you. There are a lot of people who earn more than me, and others who earn less.

You can then exchange the Swagbucks for gift cards. 500 Swagbucks (SB) is $5, 1,000 SB is $10, and so on.

I just like that it’s fun, easy, and it’s “free” money to me.

So when I see something on Amazon, I have no problem buying it since I earned it with Swagbucks.

But I admit I am addicted.

They give you a “daily goal”, and when you hit it, you get extra free SB at the start of the next month. So of course every day I want to reach my first goal. (There is a second goal that’s higher than the first, but as long as you get the first goal, you’ll get the first bonus.)

So every day I won’t give up until I’ve at least hit my first goal.  I just received my bonus for last month, and got just under $10 in bonus SB! I was very happy.  It made it so I was just about at another $25 gift card.  (You can cash out at a lot less though.  With some things, you can cash out with as little as 300 SB for $3.)

I’m only partially embarrassed to say that I’m doing a survey while writing this post! (I write a paragraph or so…then go answer a few questions, then come back and write a little bit more, and so on.)

Is it a way to make a living?  Of course not.  But since I’m here in front of my devices anyway, I might as well earn a few extra dollars here and there.  I’ve used “free money” from Swagbucks to get a bunch of big stuff over the past few years:  a new treadmill, Beachbody’s T25 workout DVDs, mobile devices (a Moto G and Moto E) and more.

I have fun with it, plus get some free stuff.

If you’re interested, here’s a link.  I just warn you, you might get addicted like me, where you MUST hit your first goal every day! But it’s all in fun of course.  When I’m on vacation I don’t do Swagbucks,..but the second I get home, you better believe I’m back!

I’ve been a member for about a year and a half now, and can’t see giving it up.  So if you’re looking to earn a little bit of extra money or gift cards, I’d take a look at Swagbucks.

Enjoy,

Jessica
